Deuterium, also known as heavy hydrogen, is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, flammable gas at room temperature and pressure, and is a stable isotope of ordinary hydrogen.
Its chemical properties are exactly the same as ordinary hydrogen, but due to its large mass and lower reaction speed, it is mainly used for special light bulbs, nuclear research, bombardment particles and tracers of deuteron accelerators.
1~3% D2+N2 mixed gas is used in large quantities for low water peak fiber processing.
